I don't think I've ever done one of these before, huh. Well, here goes!
Shunsui is... Shunsui. He was my first character in CFUD and actually never intended to be my primary but. ended up being that by default for a long long time WHOOPS. He is fun to play in that he's a friendly, shameless and slightly perverted retard who knows he's being a retard and does it anyway. I haven't had him out quite so much lately, but I'm still kinda in the "oohhhh shiiiiinyyy" stage with Laguna and am a bit behind on Bleach so ask me how I feel in a couple weeks or so.
ICly, Shunsui is more zen than he's ever been. Nanao's here and they're more or less together and this... actually occupies most of his thoughts/attention at the moment. He is still aware that EVENTUALLY someday they will be going back to Soul Society and the war there, but after almost two years in camp now he just figures that'll happen when it happens and he's going to enjoy this extra time for now.
DROPPING?: Okay well I WILL BE HONEST and say that if he hadn't gotten a Nanao in the summer counselor round there... is a good chance Shunsui would be very close to being dropped by now. AS IT IS he's probably good for a while as a secondary, especially if I get caught up on canon again. If Nanao ever drops though he's probably going too.
PLANS?: CATCH UP ON BLEACH. Also have more retarded threads with Nanao. And more threads in general.
Ayanami is both so much fun and so much pain at the same time. I DO LOVE HIS CHARACTER and how he fits in with canon and just... the whole manipulative intelligent antagonist with DEPTH thing and he is fun to play for that reason. I am moooostly zen with his unfriendliness and tendency to drop threads due to simply deciding he doesn't feel like talking anymore, because he's just not the outgoing type. I sometimes worry about straddling that line between his careful plotting and his pride and how well (or not) he's dealing with camp, but that's just how it goes. Really his only BIG issue is just... he is not a nice person, and sometimes is entirely willing or even happy to go for things that make me OOCly wince a lot. WHICH IS FINE because it's IC and if the other player is fine with it than whatever, that's just how it is. Overall though I do so enjoy playing him and he kinda almost splits primary status with Laguna right now.
ICly, Ayanami HATES camp. He hates being trapped, he hates camp DOING things to him, he hates having Teito and the Ghosts RIGHT THERE and he can't DO anything, and is generally Not Happy with his situation at all. >| But him hating the world is pretty much the usual state of things ANYWAY so this isn't such a big deal, and he's mostly recovered his pride from the fight with Morrolan/getting turned into a panther and he has some subordinates here so he'll be back to his regularly scheduled plotting in no time.
DROPPING?: HAHAHAHAHA no. I love playing him and his canon is just being AMAZING right now and. yeah. NOT A CHANCE.
PLANS?: MOAR PLOTTINGS >D Also find an excuse to turn him into a panther again for Hyuuga's benefit. Also meet certain persons who should be most interesting to thread with.
Laguna is... he's Laguna, man. I mean I CONFESS probably over half the time I have him out is the result of just randomly throwing him at an interesting post/thread whatever and not really giving it ANY thought whatsoever but. This is IC for Laguna and it WORKS for him. He is so much fun to play even when I have absolutely no idea what the heck I'm doing because... he probably doesn't know what he's doing either. HE IS VERY EASY TO THREAD WITH although he's so talky I tend to drop threads more than I like when my attention span runs out but oh well. I am very glad I went through with apping him. :|b
ICly, Laguna is pretty zen! I mean, he comes from a canon with crazy crap like a weird race that turns into small lion-like animals when they age and monsters falling from the moon and time-traveling sorceresses from the future. Sure the whole many worlds thing was a bit out there, but otherwise hey, it's not that much weirder than home! So he cool. He's... probably going to eventually realize at some point that oh hey he oughta be trying to get home sometime, but then be just as easily sidetracked and forget for another some months and so on, so yeah he cool.
DROPPING?: OH HELL NO
PLANS?: ...get him assigned to a cabin or something already so he can stop being a bum. Also turn him into a moomba. Also more threads where he can get flustered/embarrassed/nervous to abuse legcramp icons. Also more awkward threads with people who knew Squall. :D
And I thiiiink that's it! Watch as I end up remembering something when I'm closing everything to go to bed.
